As the Medical Science Liaison, you are responsible to lead scientific engagement with healthcare professionals, support clinical research, and deliver impactful medical education. In this field-based role, you'll be the bridge between cutting-edge science and real-world application, empowering safe and effective use of our medicines.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Customer facing activities
• Comprehensive external expert scientific dialogue and engagement plan
• Conduct content-led discussions with prioritized stakeholders, drawing on existing materials, i.e. inform/present on complex scientific and medical information and support the safe and effective use of Sandoz medicines
• Organize local events for stakeholder engagement, e.g. medical education
• Attend national conferences and symposia
• Report insights from the field on key topics back into the organization
Data and insight generation
• Assist in the initiation, oversight and follow up of clinical studies and medical projects in designated therapeutic area
• Act as point of contact with external experts to facilitate Investigator-Initiated Trials.
• Participate in Non-Interventional Study by performing site visits and answering inquiries, as necessary
• Facilitate medical and scientific field intelligence, e.g. competitor research
Medical distinctiveness
• Support and train internal local teams i.e. give scientific update presentations
• Participate in execution of local POP programs
Medical foundation
• Ensure all activities are conducted in a compliant manner
Requirements:
• Bachelor' s or advanced degree in Pharmacology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar Medical Affairs or MSL role.
• Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, with a clear understanding of the role of Medical Affairs in supporting scientific and medical objectives, particularly within the hematology and oncology therapeutic areas.
• Comprehensive understanding of compliance and regulatory standards relevant to medical engagement and scientific exchange.
• Fluency in English and the local language, both written and spoken, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
