1. Product Application Support Provide in-depth technical support to customers on product integration, application, and optimization, ensuring successful implementation and performance. Customer Issue Resolution & Technical Analysis Act as the technical point of contact for customer escalations. Investigate product-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose effective solutions in a timely manner. 2. Technical Documentation Development Create and maintain high-quality technical collateral, including datasheets, application notes, and user guides, to facilitate customer understanding and internal alignment. 3. Product Characterization & Test Planning Perform product feature validation and develop customized test setups and environments to ensure functionality meets specifications. 4. Project Management & Pre/Post-Sales Support Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage technical aspects of customer projects. Accompany sales teams on customer visits to provide technical presentations, product demos, and solution proposals. 5. Overseas Travel (as required) Support global customers and projects through occasional overseas travel for on-site support, training, or technical workshops.

About the Role: As a Thermal Engineer in our notebook product development team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end thermal solution design, analysis, and optimization of next-generation notebooks. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and system architects to ensure thermal performance meets both functional and user experience requirements. Responsibilities: Lead thermal design and validation for notebook systems, including CPU/GPU thermal management, fan/cooling module selection, and system airflow optimization. Perform thermal simulation and analysis (e.g., CFD, FEA) during the early design phase to guide system architecture and layout decisions. Develop thermal mitigation strategies (e.g., dynamic thermal throttling, heat spreader design, material selection) to ensure system reliability and performance. Collaborate with ID, ME, and EE teams to integrate thermal solutions into compact industrial designs without compromising performance. Conduct empirical thermal testing using tools like thermocouples, infrared cameras, and data acquisition systems to validate system performance against design targets. Support design reviews and provide clear documentation on thermal performance, risks, and recommendations for improvement. Work closely with manufacturing and QA teams to resolve thermal issues during NPI and mass production phases.
