SENIOR FORMULATIONS CHEMIST (R&D)

This senior level position is in Surface Preparation and Clean R&D within the Patterning Solution Business Field. The role focus on research and development for new formulated products and intellectual property related to semiconductor wet cleaning applications. In addition, the incumbent will lead root cause analysis and provide technical solutions to address customer problem and concerns.

The role requires in-depth understandings of fundamental chemistry, physical chemistry, wet clean technology, liquid and surface analysis techniques, and familiar with different semiconductor equipment tool sets. In addition, this role requires extensive technical and hand-on experience in order to develop mechanisms and data-driving theories to correlate chemistry properties with product performance.
The incumbent will need to demonstrate leadership through strong technical skills, teamwork skills, as well as be self-motivated in supporting business opportunities and ultimately winning business.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Develop wet cleaning/etch solution focusing on key IC manufacturers in Asia.
• Respond customer requests and complaints in timely manner
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems for internal and external customers
• Contribute to intellectual property strategies that include patent landscapes and patent filing strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional and multi-cultural team for various projects
