1. Perform and document Audio Certification Testing, System and component characterization.
2. Understand test specs, write test procedures, collecting data and perform statistical analysis.
3. Define or develop test utilities if applicable to accomplish this testing or to assist with our test automation.
4. Evaluate results from subjective and objective testing in different environments and scenarios to verify that audio has improved.
5. FATP and PCBA rework.
6. Laboratory and Equipment maintenance.
Minimum qualifications:
1. 2 years of experience with relevant audio or acoustic work.
2. Analyzing Information, Written test report, Presentation Skills, Attention to Detail, Innovation.
Preferred qualifications:
1. Knowledge of audio signal processing algorithms (EQ, compression, echo cancellation, etc.) and how to tune.
2. Knowledge of acoustic design for speakers and microphones.
3. Skilled at audio and acoustic measurements using standard equipment from SoundCheck, Audio Precision, Bruel & Kjaer, and/or HEAD Acoustics.
4. Familiar with Heads Acoustic ACQUA
5. Experience using ACQUA for Phone call testing
