THE ROLE:
AMD has very exciting solutions in the Audio space catering to the needs of many OEMs. We work very closely with various OEMs on different features. In the current role, the engineer has to work very closely with the OEMs team on understanding the technical issues, reproducing the issues and triaging, etc.

THE PERSON:
The engineer will have to pay attention to the customer issues. He must act like a bridge between the OEMs & the Engineering team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This engineer must interact with core dev team at Hyderabad for learning insights into AMD audio solutions.
He/ She must interact with OEMs to understand the problems faced from time to time
Develop a methods / strategy for triaging issues.
In 3-6 months, the engineer will become strong enough to own >75% of OEM reported issues.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Excellent programming skills of C/ C++
• Excellent debug experience on Windows Drivers
• Excellent written / oral communication skills is mandatory
• Previous experience in Customer facing roles is a great asset
• Role will mainly involve Debug/Triage customer issues on AMD Audio Solution
• Insight into Windows Audio subsystem is a huge plus (not mandatory)
• Need to co-ordinate between customer & engineering team continuously.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
• BS Electrical / Electronics with work experience
• Excellent debug skills with C/ C++ need.
• Prior knowledge of Windows debug is a huge plus
