Position Summary:
This individual will be instrumental in driving growth for the Laboratory Products Division (LPD) business in Taiwan. He/she will be responsible for increasing the market share for Thermo Fisher Scientific products through distributor sales channel and / or direct sales. He / She will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales target in Taiwan.
This individual will also facilitate a positive experience for customers, including building up referral and lead generation network in the country. In addition, he/she will provide deep, ongoing analysis and understanding of the Life Sciences industry to regional management, marketing and field applications groups to ensure alignment with the country’s needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with LPD Commercial lead to develop and implement territory specific LPD strategies
2. Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners within assigned territory
3. Manage sales activities of partners to generate revenue, coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals
4. Address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner.
5. Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness and product sell through
6. Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements, works closely with partners to develop channel marketing strategies and account specific marketing plans for Taiwan
7. Regular customer visits, to stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities, to identify and develop new business opportunities
8. Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities.
9. Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at company-sponsored seminars, trainings, meetings
10. Help coordinate, plan and participate in channel sales training and partner tradeshow events
11. Work together with distributors and Product Managers to ensure all possible actions are done in order to secure business in competitive situations
12. Work closely with distributors, Service and Support teams to ensure high customer satisfaction
13. Collaborate with product marketing team to develop and implement channel incentive and promotional programs,
14. Manage Pipeline, provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to sales management on all Channel Partner activities via Salesforce.com
15. Build strong relationship with KOLs and reference labs in the region
16. Create and lead big deals by engaging KOLs and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to secure the business.
