We are seeking a highly skilled, professional technical supervisor to join our dynamic and growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support of Thermo Fisher Scientific products to our Biosciences customers, with a focus on cell analysis instruments. You will also oversee a group of talented technical scientists providing customer support, thereby contributing substantially to customer satisfaction and loyalty resulting in a contribution to the overall success of the business.

What will you do?

1. Supervise Technical Application Scientists to build customer allegiance
2. Responsible for collaboration and communication with various teams as needed
3. Provide guidance and insight to upper management
4. Support our customers in the area of flow cytometry, plate readers, imaging systems, and protein analysis workflow.
5. Provide trainings and consultations on the use and maintenance of Thermo Fisher Scientific instruments, software, reagents and consumables
6. Demonstrate the technical advantages of Thermo Fisher Scientific products to sales staff and customers through seminars, workshops, demonstrations etc.
7. Interact with local, regional and global colleagues to ensure sharing of knowledge


Job Requirements

1. MS or PhD in Biology or related Biological Science discipline is preferred.
Experience
2. At least 5 years of laboratory or related work hands-on technical experience
3. At least 3 years of customer facing experiences
4. Extensive experience in Flow Cytometry and data analysis is required
5. Experience in a broad range of cell analysis assays and instruments is preferred
6. Experience in people management is a plus, but not necessary
7. Demonstrate good leadership skills
8. Excellent interpersonal skills
9. Excellent communication & presentation skills.
10. Proven technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
11. Excellent time management skills and able to work effectively to meet multiple aggressive priorities
12. Fluent English and Mandarin language skills – oral and written
13. Travel within Taiwan will be required
