Job Purpose
As a custodian of designated brands, Brand Manager is accountable for brand P&L and takes the lead in commercial innovation development and execution. He/she is the brand owner who’s responsible for understanding category and consumer insights, developing marketing campaigns to grow brand penetration and out-perform competitors.
Key Responsibilities
P&L management:
o Accountable for brand P&L and closely manage A&P to maximize spending efficiency
Consumer learning/Market intelligence:
o Perform necessary analysis regarding category trends, competition dynamics, brand consumption and relevant financial reporting on product sales and prepare reports on timely basis.
o Utilize category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in product development as well as marketing initiatives.
Brand Plan & Execution:
o Lead the development of brand strategy and marketing plans with clear growth objectives and get alignment with global category/area MKT team
o Responsible for media plan development by working closely with media agency and ensures timely execution which meets media KPIs.
o Set brand planning calendar, coordinate cross-functional activities and planning processes, manage timelines, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
o Collaborate with trade / expert marketing and sales team for well-rounded brand plan execution
Innovation:
Explore/identify business opportunities for LOC innovation vision board. Work with global/area MKT and cross functions to bring live the innovation.
Others:
• Lead the internal & external meetings / reviews for designated brands
• Perform other duties as necessary to support the objectives of division and company.
