We Are Looking For: An insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field - 8+ years of experience in embedded firmware development - Strong knowledge of TR-069, TR-369, and TR-181 protocols and implementations - Experience with MQTT protocol implementation in embedded systems - Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded environments - Understanding of router management systems and remote configuration - Experience with OpenWrt/LinksysWRT development - Knowledge of open source license management and compliance in product development - Experience with prplWrt protocol integration - Familiarity with RDK management interfaces - Knowledge of device management security best practices - Experience with automated protocol testing methodologies - Understanding of IoT protocols beyond MQTT (XMPP, CoAP, etc.) - Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for protocol optimization - Experience with protocol performance optimization in resource-constrained environments - Ability to evaluate and integrate open source components while managing license obligations Why Join Us: At Fortinet, we embrace diversity and inclusivity.
