Incumbent has operational responsibility for ensuring the planning and delivery of all technical and non-technical training in Market. Ensuring that skills curriculum and retailer competency are of the highest quality and enables delivery of the Network outcomes and objectives in areas such as customer satisfaction and sales targets.
Develop, implement and actively monitor current and new processes and policies to support delivery of training in both the Regional Academy as well as in-market.
Drive retailer competency through the delivery of effective training to retailer personnel across the network, improving work efficiency and standards that enable the achievement of customer experience and commercial targets.
Main Responsibilities:
Overall Training Management:
Manage the annual training budget – forecasting, tracking and reporting to maximise operational effectiveness of training delivery (including apprentice programmes, E-learnings, Regional Academy utilization and in-market)
Forecasting and planning for future requirements to meet training needs and where applicable manage and co-ordinate the set-up and on-going maintenance of the facility/ facilities
Management of the day to day training operations and training suppliers (market trainers) including JLR Training management system (Excellence system)
Management of tools & equipment required to deliver the training curriculum
Source, obtain and maintain in-market vehicle fleet for training purposes
Technical & Non-Technical training:
Develop the curriculum (in conjunction with Global/ Regional Training teams) that supports key functional areas within the retailer network including technical (parts and service) and sales training
To deliver Non-training according to the Jaguar Land Rover curriculum, learner journeys and Retailer needs.
Ensure maximum utilisation and deployment of trainers to effectively deploy new training curriculum, tools and processes
Plan, develop and implement a robust training rolling calendar which supports all aspect of in-market training including new model launch, soft skills and technical training (Mechanical and Bodyshop)
Lead the development of retailer staff through the delivery of training programmes and initiatives that support corporate goals related to customer first and satisfaction (i.e. CEIP NPS score etc.)
Development and implementation of effective reporting on key training metrics:
- Trainer utilisation
- Individual learner progression
- Job role progression
- Retailer progression
- Trainer capability/accreditation
Responsible for the operational delivery of new product launch and new retailer launch training
Develop new training tools and techniques to ensure enhanced delivery of training objectives and quality of training delivery (including virtual classroom programmes
