Language Lead We are looking for a senior linguist to work as a language lead for a designated client in our office or work remotely. Responsibilities: · Perform translation, editing/review, MTPE, QA, Language bug-fixing, content style checks per requirements and ensure quality work to final delivery. · Define terminology, quality standards and improvements for product and marketing content. · Create and maintain style guide and terminology for the locale. · Summarize linguistic rules, guidelines and create the best practice for the target language. · Manage language specific query answering. · Check the feedback from internal reviewers or client reviewers and maintain the feedback consolidation file. · Keep the language checklist and the best practice summary file up-to-dated. · Work with PM/LQM to evaluate translators’ performance and suggest changes or retraining. · Conduct language/content-specific workshop with the linguists. · Proactively work on quality improvement initiatives and provide continuous evaluation and feedback during production cycle. · Perform Root Cause Analysis and escalation of problems found to improve target language quality. · Drive meetings with clients on a need basis with LQM to receive product training and other knowledge and feedback to transfer and train to the translation pools.
