Product management provides the deep product expertise needed to lead the organization and make strategic product decisions. The position also includes marketing, forecasting, and profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities, laying out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands.
- Managing products supply chain and local inventory through sales analysis and volume forecast.
- Performing profit and loss analysis of each product under the management, and recommending sales price and strategy.
- Market intelligence and price strategy.
- Collaborate with internal / external suppliers for spec, pricing, supply management, and customer requirements.
- Providing the sales team with necessary product information to support the sales negotiation.
- Working with sales teams to engage customers and understand customers’ needs.
- Coordinating with various departments within the AL global organizations to resolve quality issues.
- Flexibility to work across different product lines (advanced material/specialty gas).
