We are looking for a highly motivated LabVIEW engineer with a significant experience in multi-device control and system integration. This position is primarily responsible for developing control software for our pioneering microscope-based systems. You will play an important role in development and production of next-generation microscope systems.
Responsibilities
• Utilize skills in systems, hardware, algorithms, and software to develop, improve, document, and support for system-level hardware/software integration, automation control, and troubleshooting
• Perform device evaluation and testing activities
• Learn and understand existing software architecture and contribute to feature development following established software development practices
• Provide technical support and escalation in each phase of the product life cycle
• Work closely with other team members to address system related issues and find solutions
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in systems control development utilizing LabVIEW
• Excellent problem analysis and solving skills
• Highly motivated team player able to work at a fast pace
Preferred additional skills
• Experience in electronic measurement
• Knowledge of PCB layout and schematic diagram
• Experience in integration development with DAQ or FPGA
• Experience in development of firmware and device communications
• Experience in software development with C++ or C#
