• Leading the Quality and Product Engineering Team to: - Collect quality data from production lines of manufacturing partners, analyze the data/information and report abnormalities, initiate continuous improvement activities. - Summarize and report the sensor quality status regularly. - Receive the notifications/reports of quality status from manufacturing partners and trigger proper actions. - Receive the feedback from various stages of production, as well as from the customer/field regarding the product quality, coordinate improvement and verification activities among different sites. - Conduct Failure Analysis on the customer returned samples and provide reports to the customer service department. - Conduct audits with the manufacturing partners regularly and as needed. - Work with R&D and operation teams to establish the proper quality control capability in manufacturing partners’ facility, including the design/development of test jigs/methods/standards and evaluations of new facilities. - Respond to and escort the customer quality audits and queries. - Create SOP’s IQC/OQC, align the inspection among different stages, and provide training to manufacturing partners. - Manage the Product Configuration information in PLM system (Arena). Upload the documents/files to the system and keep the information to the most updated versions. - Synchronize the required production information from NEXT Biometrics internal control to manufacturing partners. - Coordinate the communications and approval process for changes and development. • Work with Customer Service on the complaints and coordinate the analysis and improvements. • Work with R&D and Product Management teams on the product/process development, providing the support in validation plan and execution. • Work with Operation team in the supplier management to ensure the production quality and efficiency. • Manage the performance of individuals in the team and provide guidelines for the goals. Develop the skills of team members.
