德國英華威集團來台投資，不僅導入離岸風力，並在臺灣再生能源法制架構形塑過程中，發揮重要且具建設性的影響力，其中包含躉購制度與土地法規等等。
2008.07
在德國英華威集團等民間團體的推動之下，「再生能源發展條例」公告施行。
2016.01
德國英華威/德能集團完成「允能離岸風力發電場」開發工作，並將風場移轉予wpd 達德能源集團。該風場其後參與臺灣離岸風力發電容量分配遴選，順利獲選得標。
2017.01
德國英華威/德能集團建置完成的陸域風力發電場開發，總裝置容量達約400百萬瓦。
2020.11
德國英華威/德能集團售出臺灣第一度經由企業再生能源購售電契約交易的再生能源，且迄今依然為臺灣再生能源憑證最大持有者。
2022.01
德能集團將「美森離岸風力發電場興建計畫」送交環境部審查。
2022.09
英華威集團/德能集團「美森離岸風力發電場興建計畫」通過環評專家小組會議,取得投標資格
2023.12
英華威集團/德能集團將「鍾梅離岸風力發電場興建計畫」送交環境部審查
