The Sales Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and revenue. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven professional with a strong understanding of market dynamics.
Reporting Lines / Substitution / Subordinates
- Report to Director.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably civil engineering, electrical / electronic engineering, mechanical/mechatronics engineering with at least 5 years of working experience as Sales Manager.
- Bilingual, i.e. fluent in local language.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing management, preferably in Industry knowledge which includes Construction, Mining, Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical.
- Overseas sales experiences will be preferred.
- Result-oriented, meticulous and a team player.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative sales and marketing strategies.
- Proficient in SAP.
- Preferably to have driving license and own transport.
Job Scope:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Primary target market – Taiwan.
• Establish and develop sales strategies for BAUER equipment for local market, other target country or market segments.
• Set clear sales objectives and KPIs, and regularly monitor and report on progress.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
2. Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing client accounts.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
3. Sales Forecasting and Budgeting:
• Prepare sales forecasts and budgets and monitor sales performance against targets.
• Manage expenses and optimize spending to maximize ROI.
• Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.
4. Product and Market Knowledge:
• Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products or services and their value propositions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics.
5. Sales Process Improvement:
• Continuously assess and improve the sales process, identifying areas for enhancement and efficiency.
• Implement sales tools, technology, and CRM systems to support sales activities.
6. Sales Negotiations and Deal Closure:
• Lead negotiations with clients, close deals, and secure contracts.
• Ensure that sales contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
7. Sales Collaboration:
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales efforts with overall company goals.
• Provide input to product development based on customer feedback and market insights.
8. Others:
• Ensure import / export compliance program is maintained.
• Ad-hoc duties assign by HOD from time to time.
