Job Description SanDisk is seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Manager, Ecosystem Enablement to drive the technical adoption and ecosystem expansion of our Consumer Flash Storage products, including microSD Express, SD, USB, and portable SSDs across key market segments such as gaming, imaging, mobile, dash cams, drones, and compute. In this role, you will work closely with ecosystem partners, host device manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration, technical validation, and market adoption of SanDisk's flash storage solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic communication skills, and the ability to work across diverse stakeholders to accelerate ecosystem enablement efforts. This is a remote role based in the APAC region, supporting key markets and partners across Asia. Qualifications Ecosystem Enablement & Technical Advocacy Serve as the primary technical marketing liaison between SanDisk and host device manufacturers, chipset vendors, and ecosystem partners. Advocate for SanDisk’s microSD Express and high-performance storage solutions, ensuring they are supported and optimized by APAC-based partners. Collaborate with OEMs, ISVs, and industry associations to drive standardization, compatibility, and certification of flash storage technologies. Technical Product Integration & Testing Support Work closely with engineering and product management teams to support compatibility testing, certification, and optimization of flash storage products for ecosystem partners. Provide technical guidance, product positioning, and integration recommendations to host device manufacturers to ensure seamless adoption of microSD Express, SD, and USB storage solutions. Coordinate with internal compatibility labs and FAEs to address ecosystem-specific technical requirements. Partner Engagement & Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy Support technical marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, and industry events to promote SanDisk’s flash storage solutions. Develop technical content, whitepapers, and training materials for partners to showcase the advantages of SanDisk's storage solutions. Assist in defining and executing regional GTM strategies with the Director, Ecosystem Product Management, ensuring alignment with market needs. Industry Trends & Competitive Analysis Monitor industry trends, competitive technologies, and emerging standards impacting flash storage adoption. Provide insights to product management and engineering teams on market dynamics, use cases, and ecosystem challenges in APAC. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Internal Enablement Work with sales, business development, and marketing teams to align ecosystem strategies with business objectives. Working as part of the ASIC platform validation engineer, you will creates and maintains the diagnostic, verification and HAL firmware running on various platforms for solid state memory systems. Key aspects of the prototype platform will be their performance and ease of use by multiple engineering functions. In this highly technical and hands-on role, essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): -Design, write, debug, and integrate the high-performance SoC with firmware code across the PCIe/NVMe storage interface system. -Develop and verification the firmware on the virtual platform, RTL simulation, emulation platform and ASIC AVB platform. Compete the HAL firmware to validate the various platform components -Involve in performing evaluating, designing, and building HAL code for high-performance solid-state system that will have the optimized hardware configuration setting, reduce power or latency and SoC complexity for the target markets. -Interacting with ASIC group, hardware group, product verification group, product firmware group, HSI group and various other crossfunctional teams. -Work with emulation platform hardware design engineer to complete the prototyping platforms that provide significant value to the overall SSD development process Your contributions will have immediate contribution to the company success in our fast paced environment. Qualifications Education Requirements The successful candidate will have an Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics (or a Masters in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics). 3 or more years of experience working with embedded firmware, experience developing (design, implementation, debug) of code. Required Skills/Experience Expert level in C programming. Two or more years experience with storage systems. Three years or more embedded firmware experience; including debugging using JTAG-based debuggers. Understanding of RISC microprocessors; including interrupts scheduling and optimization. Prior product development experience with at least two embedded microprocessors such as ARC, ARM, or equivalent. Demonstrated experience developing software using structured methodologies, including but not limited to: requirements analysis and capture, design documentation, source code management tools, and defect tracking tools. Good communication skills and ability to succinctly describe and summarize highly technical firmware and/or system challenges. Strong engineering aptitude for electronic/electrical systems, including ability to understand schematics as necessary for software/hardware integration. Desired Skills/Experience Experience in storage systems and SSD Experience with Toggle or ONFI Flash memory technology Solid skills with one or more scripting language such as Python. Working knowledge of digital hardware design. Knowledge of Verilog a plus Perform failure analysis by using storage interface bus analyzer and digital scope, identifying the issues, duplicating the problems, and resolving the issues with corrective actions Other skills Teamwork, good communication skills and openness.
