Job Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and oversee logistics strategies to ensure efficient movement of goods, tools, and equipment domestically and internationally.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including coordination with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
• Ensure compliance with Taiwan import/export regulations, trade agreements, and company asset-control policies.
• Oversee the storage, organization, and inventory control of tools, equipment, and spare parts to ensure availability and reduce downtime.
• Implement systems for equipment tracking, maintenance schedules, and calibration requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements with logistics and equipment service providers to achieve cost savings and service improvements.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, equipment utilization, transportation costs, and inventory accuracy; provide regular performance reports.
• Lead and mentor logistics and warehouse staff, promoting proper handling, safety, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and operations teams to forecast equipment needs and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and extend equipment life cycles.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for logistics and asset management functions.
