Job Overview
The Manager of accounting operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for leading core finance functions within our global organization, including overseeing the global accounts payable function. This role manages a team of A/P professionals and ensures timely, accurate, and compliant processing of vendor invoices and payments. The role will also manage the global travel programs, including policy enforcement, expense tracking, and coordination with travel vendors and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in international A/P operations, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities 
Leadership & Team Management
•	Lead, mentor, and develop a global A/P team, fostering a high-performance culture.
•	Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
•	Collaborate with HR and Finance leadership on staffing, training, and succession planning.
Global A/P Operations
•	Oversee end-to-end A/P processes across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
•	Manage vendor relationships and resolve escalated issues related to payments, disputes, and reconciliations.
•	Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Global travel manager
•	Manage global travel programs, including policy enforcement, expense tracking, and coordination with travel vendors and internal stakeholders.
•	Lead negotiations with travel vendors (airlines, hotels, car rentals)
Process Optimization & Compliance
•	Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
•	Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with Taiwan regulations, GAAP, and other local regulatory requirements.
•	Partner with IT and Finance Systems teams to optimize ERP and automation tools.
Reporting & Analysis
•	Prepare and present regular reports on A/P metrics, aging, and cash flow impact.
•	Support audits and provide documentation as needed.
•	Collaborate with Treasury and Accounting teams on month-end close and cash forecasting.
•	Analyze travel spend, identify cost-saving opportunities and assist with month end travel end expense reporting
Cross-Functional Collaboration
•	Work closely with Procurement, Accounting, and Finance teams to align on policies and procedures.
•	Serve as a key point of contact for international finance teams and external stakeholders.
Flexibility for Global Collaboration
•	Demonstrate the ability to work outside of standard business hours to accommodate international meetings and time zones including some early mornings, evenings and weekends as necessary
•	Maintain responsiveness and professionalism in a global, cross-cultural environment.
•	As part of the global finance team, ability to work with global teams and management including night, early morning, or weekend meetings, as necessary. 
•	Performing any other reasonable duties as directed by management
