Job Summary Customer Support Engineer (CSE) will serve as the GE Vernova Gas Power Engineering technology steward and critical customer fronting face for all 7HA Gas Turbine Install Base in Taiwan. You will closely work with Product Support, Monitoring & Diagnostics, Performance, Repair, Application Engineering and Technology teams within the Gas Power Engineering community, with New Unit projects and Services ITR teams with a specific alignment to our Taiwan 7HA customers to enhance customer experience and overall Gas Power fleet reliability and availability. You will deliver a comprehensive life-cycle engineering solution for our customers, ensuring safe fleet operations and best fleet performance (Reliability and Availability), by aligning with GPE value streams, New Unit projects and Services ITR to drive data driven, innovative solutions. Roles/Responsibilities 1. Respond to internal and external customer requests based on data driven, innovative and pragmatic technical issue resolution, leveraging technical product knowledge and analytical skills while adhering to sound engineering principles, standards, practices, procedures. 2. Escalate issues as required, act as the liaison between the field, Product Support, Monitoring & Diagnostics, Performance, Repair, Application and design engineering teams within the engineering community, Product Line to drive technical problem solutioning, to help identify and drive corrective actions deployment to minimize fleet risk and enhance 7HA Fleet reliability in Taiwan. 3. Engage in outage planning/execution and support outage productivity improvements. 6. Collaborate with Monitoring and Diagnostic team to analyse plant operations, identify, and drive improvements on their asset performance. 7. Partner with systems, reliability and Product Services teams to program management fleet risk retirement, root cause analysis / problem solving. Interface with M&D, Product-Line, System and Design Engineering teams to work on proactive identification of fleet risks. 8. Prepare technical presentations for Gas Power Management and Taiwan Gas Power customers to ensure proactive and timely communication of significant issues or ones that are brewing. 9. Provide engineering leadership and technical guidance for all new unit installations as needed.

Pre-commission, commission, service static frequency converters (SFC) and variable frequency (VFD) low and medium voltage drives/switchgear/transformers and power systems. 2. Provide technical assistance and supervision to customers on the installations. 3. Conduct on-site interpretation of data and technical instructions. 4. Hands-on on-site parts replacement, testing, and verification of electrical equipment. 5. Complete site documentations such as weekly safety update, installations check lists, pre-commissioning, and commissioning procedures. 6. Adhere with the Company Health and Safety policies and work in safe and best practice manner to ensure the wellbeing of personnel and equipment are not compromised. 7. Able to interface at upper management and peer's levels of the organization both internally and externally in clear and methodical manner. 8. In charge for the whole scope of site activities from site mobilization to final acceptance, acting under the direction and on behalf of the Project/Service Manager. 9. Lead the site team and manage the execution of the project scope of work. It also includes to establish and maintain performance metrics to measure program/project success; install process excellence support for program/project governance, project review.
