JOB SUMMARY The Payment Validation Lead Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the validation of payment systems, focusing on reliability and compliance. This role involves collaboration with third-party partners to develop comprehensive test plans, manage testing schedules, and ensure that all aspects of the payment system meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. The engineer will lead the testing team, ensuring the stability, security, and compliance of the payment systems under various conditions. In this role, you must have solid domain knowledge to develop test method with industry trend, host training/sharing of leading-edge technology for teams, and support test execution to meet Jabil’s business goal with customer requirements, technology advances, product quality, product cost, and time-to-market. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Test Strategy & Planning: o Develop and implement test strategies focused on reliability and compliance. o Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of testing activities. • Reliability Testing: o Payment & POS products related experience o Lead endurance, stress, and recovery testing to ensure payment system stability. o Monitor and improve system reliability using metrics such as MTBF and MTTR. o Waterproof (IPx)related experience o Mechanical life test related experience and fixture design capability o Lab management skill-schedule and cost o NEBS related experience o Basics validation knowledge of Payment feature & function and networking settings • Compliance Testing: o Ensuring the product meets the regulatory requirements o RE Certification related experience o RF performance test o Lab management skill-schedule and cost o EPEAT Certification o NEBS related experience o Telecon Carrier Certification related experience • Collaboration & Management: o Coordinate with third-party partners on test execution, schedule management, and reporting. o Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, working closely with development teams. • Reporting & Review: o Review and validate test reports from third parties, ensuring they meet internal quality standards. o Identify risks and ensure that all testing activities are completed within the project timeline.
