Develop and enforce best practices for quality assurance, contributing to the evolution of testing standards and methodologies within the organization. Manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary validation team, providing technical leadership, training, and career development opportunities. Act as a technical authority, providing guidance and support in troubleshooting critical validation challenges and ensuring swift issue resolution. Communicate validation progress, risks, and key findings to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Expertise in validation methodologies, including functional, performance, compatibility, stress, compliance and reliability testing, with the ability to define and implement effective test strategies. Deep understanding of networking and telecom technologies, including switches, routers, network protocols, and industry standards. Strong analytical skills to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues, ensuring timely validation and high product quality. Proven leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions (development, product management, compliance, and manufacturing) to drive quality improvements. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to effectively articulate test results, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and emerging trends, keeping the team and validation processes aligned with industry developments. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) for effective communication with global teams, stakeholders, and documentation review. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. 12+ years’ experience in telecom/networks product validation, including test plan development, execution, and analysis. Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience. 3+ years of people management experience.
