• Define process flow, requirements and specifications and verify through Design of Experiment (DoE) to optimize current machinery performance • Discuss with customers about the conceptual process design of new product and the enhancement of existing products’ process design • Support on-site process optimization and/or trouble-shooting through engineering evaluation to meet customer requirements • Debug the machinery functions to ensure meeting customer requirements and conduct process analysis to study the parameter test results from DoE for process optimization • Support internal machinery optimization before buy-off • Test the samples provided by customers for bonding

• Degree or higher in Engineering or Science disciplines (or any degree with courses on pattern recognition and imaging processing) • Good logical thinking and analytical mind • Experience in C/C++ and Windows programming • Have a good command of written and spoken English • Be independent, initiative, performance-driven • Responsible for conducting research and development in computer vision technology, machine learning technology, advanced vision algorithms and applications for machine automation and visual inspection • Experience in machine learning related tools such as Tensor Flow, Theano, Matlab, OpenCV etc. will be a plus

Job Duties: • Be responsible for the design and development high performance motion control system, for high speed and high precision semiconductor assembly equipment. • Be responsible for the development servo control methodologies, algorithms, and implementation for high performance mechatronic systems. • Be responsible for the sustaining of motion control system for high speed and high precision semiconductor assembly equipment. • Be responsible for the co-development of processes involving motion control for high performance semiconductor assembly equipment. Technical skills: • Strong control engineering fundamentals in classical and modern control methodologies. • Proficient in MATLAB, C/C++, Python and real-time computer system. • Familiar with system analysis and system modeling, particularly mechanical system dynamics, vibration, thermal process, motor, sensors, and power drive system. • Good background and experience with AI/ML and PHM will be added advantages.

• Identify new applications, markets and customers. Prospection and sales related activities to identify and qualify new potential customers • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers • Promote product by developing specific marketing plans including pricing and upgrade strategies to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena. • Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs, Equipment Procurement Sepc review and to determine system requirements/configuration. Then collaborate with sales operation team & Business Unit to understand customer requirements and provide sales support • Support Sales/Account Team to execute account plans strategies in conjunction with technical and product management support. • Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery • Monitor the business and technology requirements of the Account including its expansion needs. • Monitor and apprise management of competition’s strategy and latest development with respect to Accounts • Oversee the smooth execution bid proposal process, which include the coordinating of resources • Work with Field Engineering Team & Business Unit to assist clients solve problems with installed equipment • Work with the Sales Managers with sales activities including customers’ meetings, Lunch and learn events and commercial proposals • Help in researching and developing new products
