Essential Duties and Responsibilities We are looking for an exceptional Senior DevOps Engineer to join our software team. This team is responsible for source code management, developer tools, engineering infrastructure, and release operations of our Unison software platform. In this role, you will be a key contributor throughout the Unison software lifecycle—from project setup, build automation, and engineering releases to troubleshooting, pre-release(Alpha/Beta) testing support, feedback analysis, and solution delivery. You will also work closely with our US-based team to deploy and manage infrastructure that supports engineering and product teams worldwide. 1. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide software support and assistance to customers and conduct evaluation to find solutions to customers' modification requests for existing machines. • Work in close collaboration with Product Marketing Management (PMM) team to ensure strategic business objectives are met. • Generate the machine software application and guarantee stability and compliance to customers' specifications. • Provide onsite customer support in solving machine software issue. • Test and qualify software to ensure quality machine software both internally and at customer site. • Work closely with other engineering groups to evaluate the interface between hardware and software and the operational and performance requirements of the overall system. • Support and train customers and service engineers on machine software feature. • Any other ad-hoc assignments within the scope of main objectives. 2. ESSENTIAL QUALITY EXPECTATIONS: • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement. • Seek for continuous improvement in own job processes. • Provide accurate reporting. 3. AUTHORITY: • Authorized to Cohu MY Software Engineering source code and documents that is needed to fulfil the objectives and responsibilities. • Authorized to discuss technical solution with customer directly and feedback to related department.

1. Main Objectives • Serve as key point of contact for the customer and company engineering organization • Manage customer and development projects to ensure customer and company success • Manage Development activities with cross-functional groups to ensure the projects are within the defined specifications, cost and delivery schedule • Own and present technical data, concepts, and specifications to customers • Provide timely update to management and project requestors with the clear status of the development projects 2. Responsibilities • Interface and engage with customers at the technical and end-user level • Translate the information, request or specification given by requestors into the project requirement • Prepare cost estimate for engineering hours, prototype spending and final system cost • Drive the DFMEA, Risk Assessment and brainstorming for new system or feature development • Preparation, planning and coordination of project tasks to ensure compliance with its requirements, schedule and cost, with involved task managers and engineers • Management and coordination of the development materials and tools • Ensure complete verification and validation, with proper hand-over to operation and field service team including the necessary technical documentations and training • Communication of development project related information to other stakeholders • Interface with upper management, engineering, sales, and field service to ensure projects have adequate resources, communicate status, and to coordinate resolution of technical issues • Any tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time
