SR MANAGER - PACKAGE RELIABILITY -Taichung

As a Global Quality (GQ), Package Reliability & Lab Sr. Manager at Micron Technology Inc., you will be managing both Package Reliability and Characterization lab. You are responsible for driving lab performance to support Product and Package Reliability Qualification. Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to identify resources required to support the qual plan. In addition, you are expected to work together with other functional groups locally and globally to accomplish organizational and business objectives. Ensuring overall capacity expectations and budget are part of the requirement to support NPI and development work in Micron.

You are also required to provide regular updates and highlight critical issues to management, provide regular performance feedback to team members, establish goals and development plans and provide opportunities to expand skills and promote career growth.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Manage Team Member Performance:
Develop a high performing team and establish functional area objectives that are aligned to the department and corporate strategic objectives and IPP goals.
Establish job responsibilities and performance and development goals for direct reports. Provide performance feedback on an on-going basis and conduct performance appraisal for direct reports.
Collect, review, and provide verbal and written performance feedback to develop your functional area continuously.
Monitor and manage functional area performance achievement. Coach, mentor and develop direct reports and future leader. Manage and ensure conflict resolution. Provide and support recognition.
Build an Effective Team:
Establish functional area objectives, align roles and responsibilities, and communicate line of sight to department and company strategic objectives.
Remove barriers and drive for accountability.
Optimize functional area performance and structure.
Assess talent and develop talent management strategies to execute objectives.
Evaluate and support learning opportunities in your functional area and plan development opportunities with direct reports.
Empower team members and promote teamwork.
Ensure partnerships across functional areas and customer groups.
Oversee work execution and problem-solving and manage the troubleshooting of escalated issues and drive resolution.
Lab Operation:
Manage daily operation and execution in Reliability & Characterization lab, ensure committed turnaround time and accurate test to deliver best in class result.
Maintain and improve targets for each test items for continuous improvement to set BIC across Micron Network.
Manage New Product Qualification Activities
Facilitate and manage qualification group activities.
Analyze Reliability data for product validation within specific and customer requirements and report to stakeholders as higher-level metrics.
Comprehend failures and failure rate within the scope of the qualification
Manage risk assessments at all decision points within qualification cycle
Track and provide progress updates for internal and external stakeholders
Objective and Goals Setting:
Set up and optimize Reliability & Characterization lab performance objective and goals to align with departmental goals.
Establish Developmental plan for team leaders, lab engineers and technician to continuously improve skillsets and bring out best from team.
Manage and fair assessment of performance.

  • 其它條件: Minimum Qualification:
    Must have B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
    Minimum of 5 years of management role working in semiconductor industry, including 3 years of managing cross function project teams and/or team members.
    Project Management skills will be an added value.
    Ability to translate customer requirements into actionable measures
    In depth experience of software and firmware development methodologies
    Strong leadership with strategic and organizational agility preferred.
    A self-starter with strong experience driving cross-organizational objectives and projects with demonstrated ability to well in cross-functional teams.
    Strong business acumen, technical knowledge and excellent written and oral communication skills.
    Passion for excellence with strong organizational skills.
    Demonstrated ability to present data, recommendations and advice to senior leaders and executives.
    Key strengths include effective leadership, strategic thinking, business acumen, command skills, building effective teams, decisions quality, conflict management, teamwork, drive for results, discipline, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to quickly shift gears and take on new tasks that require learning new technologies and strategies.
