Sourcing Executive, Office Furniture Components (採購工程師)

Sourcing
# Supplier relationship ownership for responsible suppliers, including but not limit to negotiate and manage Supply Agreements to achieve best possible business partnership.
# Sourcing and developing new suppliers and products to align with Op Cos procurement/product engineers in supplier qualifications, best total cost sourcing and comply with requirements and regulations.
# Develops technical/engineering knowledge of products and understands end users ‘needs for effective supplier research in products
# Evaluate, analyze, negotiate and propose recommendation to manage best total cost at responsible suppliers.
# Ongoing assessment/monitoring of supplier risk; Ensure emergency supplier transition readiness. Conduct annual supplier risk assessment.

Strategic Procurement
# Provides professional, quality Account related services to end-user customers especially on procurement field;
# Facilitates and participates in price negotiations and problem resolutions with suppliers on behalf of end-user customers;
# Contacts suppliers, obtains quotations and communicates results to end-user customers; replies end-user customers’ inquiries and/or requests within 24 hours;
# Participates proactively in supplier visits, phone conferences with end users (Op Cos) to capture detail information and resolve problems

Account Management;
# Serves as the main contact window for end-user customers in the U.S. as well as suppliers of the assigned category/projects in Asia for account management, project management and procurement related works as the owner
# Coordinates and participates in end-user customers’ business activities in Asia; assists in travel arrangements including issuance of invitation letters, scheduling of travel itineraries, hotel reservations, transport services, etc.;

Project Management;
# Ensure product related tasks including but not limited to product artwork, layout design, barcode, packing, instruction manual, product sheet, quality plan, logistics arrangement are executed by related team members;
# Support Function Team to improve supplier quality, delivery and CSR performance via different strategic initiatives.
# Inspects product samples and packages, co-develop quality requirement criteria with Op Cos during the product development process
# Utilize product/engineering expertise and capabilities to identify root causes and suggests solutions for product defect or failures
# Translates, maintains and updates engineering information including but not limit to product prints, material specifications, product sheet, ECR, sample, etc.;
# Works proactively with the Testing Lab for product/sample testing and follows up results for product development projects
# Supports Quality Team in quality assurance or problem solving of products

  • 其它條件: 1. More than 5 years working experiences with minimum 2~3 years of experience and tracked performance in procurement or sourcing field.
    2. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
    3. Proactive, organized, detailed-oriented, result-oriented and reasonable working attitude;
    4. Proven ability to handle multiple projects/assignments in a fast-pace working environment
    5. Ability to prioritize work, set goals, work supportively and constructively as a team member, and meet deadlines;
    6. Strong creative thinking and problem solving capabilities and always working with a constructive discontent;
    7. Experience in cross-functional environment, manufacturing, sales, financial, or supply chain functions preferred.
    8. Experience on international trading, product development or marketing is a plus.
