Account Manager

Job Description

1. Primary Job Purpose/Function:
Promote and sell the organization's products or services and maintain relationships with existing Taiwan accounts. Typical primary responsibilities include serving as a customer key contact liaison, to gain competitive business and next generation ( expansion ) opportunities as major priority and providing customer service with enhanced user experience, maintain existing business, rather than acquiring new accounts. Responsible for the master strategy alignment for strategic accounts and ensures the strategy is executed.

2. Key Responsibilities:
(1) Serve as main CMC contact/coordinator/interface to specified customers for product promotion & services, demonstrations, technical seminars, sales calls, quality issues and technical information collection.
(2) Develop account service strategy, formulate an account plan, and execute account plan to achieve identified revenue targets for CMC products and/or services.
(3) Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key and influential customer contacts. Maintain frequent contact with all key functional organizations at each customer site that influence the use, application, or commitment to CMC products and services.
(4) Ensure CMC is properly positioned to maintain existing business, to gain competitive business and to secure next generation (expansion) opportunities. Keep customers informed regarding CMC's products, services and relevant activities.
(5) Serve as the business owner/liaison for resolution of customer issues and work as a coordinator for customer projects.
(6) Appropriately and effectively utilize CMC resources to capture business opportunities and to solve customer problems.
(7) Provide sales forecasts and business information to CMC for each customer on an ongoing basis.
(8) Identify, evaluate and secure sales opportunities at assigned account, which are consistent with company product line objectives. Provide pre- and post-sale commercial support.
(9) Assess competitive risks both from a technical and business perspective, and take necessary action to address.
(10) Act as the primary advocate for the customer into CMC. Strive for and drive to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction ratings for CMC in quality, delivery, service and technology areas.

    -Bachelors degree in a science or technical field or MBA.

    Skills:
    Business
    -Demonstrated experience in selling to complex, technical customers by supporting and dealing with multiple customers at all technical and business levels. Ability to work in a team environment or independently, effective communication skills, attentive to customer’s needs while considering business needs, proactive, organized, flexible, self-starter, and attention to detail.

    Computer
    -Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Able to generate detailed technical sales, marketing reports, and spreadsheets.

    Experience:
    -At least 3 to 5 years of IC industry experience with emphasis in product introduction, sales, marketing, and customer interface. Demonstrated technical knowledge regarding the IC industries. Knowledge regarding semiconductor process chemicals and CMP is preferred.
