Sr. EHS Engineer


THE ROLE:

This position serves as a point of contact with internal and external (Federal, State, and local) governance bodies to ensure appropriate procedures, training, and other controls are in place for environmental health and safety compliance at a major AMD site and provide support for smaller sites within the region as assigned.

THE PERSON:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have the following abilities:
- Work independently and effectively partner, influence, and deliver results in a matrix organization.
- Influence workers in adopting a strong safety culture.
- Adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations in EHS compliance.
- Drive standardization of practices and policies to improve process reliability and efficiency.
- Understand regulatory EHS Regulatory requirements for their areas of responsibility.
- Communicate effectively in both written and oral communications.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and drive the compliance programs and help resolve technical and operational compliance problems
- Leverages the best internal and external thinking to identify standard best practices as it relates to EHS and security.
- Drives the definition and adoption of a common EHS and security framework across the company.
- Trains site managers and others on EHS policies and practices.
- Drives communication and cultural change efforts to integrate EHS and security program elements into the broader AMD culture as required.
- Reviews results of investigations and lead development of corrective actions plans.
- Reviews events, procedures, protocols, change controls, validation reports and trend reports.
- Leads identification of compliance issues, development and execution, and tracking of responses.
- Develops internal auditing and monitoring strategy for areas of operation to ensure compliance.
- Lead compliance operations as subject matter expert and specialist in resolving compliance issues and conducting compliance training
- Develops and implements best practices to improve AMD carbon footprint and EHS performance.
- Manages reporting of EHS metrics at assigned AMD sites.
- Leads responses for inspections by domestic and international regulatory bodies.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Solid experience as an EHS professional.
- Expertise in EHS Regulations and compliance programs, and EHS ISO Standards.
- 勞工安全(衛生)管理師 Occupational safety management specialist


ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- BS/BA Engineering or Science preferred. Master’s degree desirable.

  • 工作技能: 勞工保險相關法規、勞工安全相關法規、建立安全衛生政策計畫程序及標準、執行安全衛生督導及稽核、規劃督導安全衛生設施之檢點與檢查、製作安全衛生管理規章及工作守則、擬定各項安全衛生管理辦法、安全衛生防護、規劃與執行安全衛生教育訓練、工作安全與環保衛生
  • 具備證照: 乙級職業安全衛生管理技術士、乙級職業安全衛生管理員
  • 其它條件: Please attach you English CV.
