(消費保健用品部門)Senior Demand Forecasting Manager

As Demand Forecasting Professional you will be responsible for the performance management process with respect to data integrity, completeness and availability of reports and collation to support efficient operations in the planning cluster.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish processes to support key account and trade channel specific forecast capability to drive enhanced service levels and reduced working capital requirements
• Define key roles and accountabilities across the business to align Sales / Marketing / Category and Finance functions. Develop ‘one number’ mindset to drive business decision making and forecast transparency / functional accountability
• Manage Demand Forecasting input into the key Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) meetings including Demand Review / Supply review and regional S&OP meetings.
• Ensure appropriate identification and understanding of demand forecast changes against short- and long-term horizons to support effective supply chain function. Provide key inputs to support E2E Supply Chain thinking and effective decision making
• Seamless handover of demand forecast and relevant market intelligence to supply planning hubs to facilitate optimal inventory levels to support the business
• Integrate Trade Spend / Net Sales inputs to ensure forecast decisions priorities cost effective, net sales delivery.
• Work with Sales teams to identify cost effective deployment of trade spend promotional monies
• Contribute to and lead significant projects to transform the operating model, and deliver the benefits required including gross to net, complexity reduction, cost of goods and working capital reductions etc
• Develop existing technical and IT capability to support baseline statistical modeling and integration of existing forecast platforms across the business to deliver enhanced forecast accuracy
• Ensure delivery of long-term volume forecasts for Plan submission and Mid-year Review.
• Coordinate cross functional teams to deliver sales gap closing opportunities as required.
• Internal measurement and reporting of demand forecasting KPIs to drive improvements in forecast accuracy and bias, working capital and customer service
• Build a consensus driven Demand Forecast (Volume and Value) with Commercial teams ensuring full volume and value alignment
• Manage activities to clear residual and slow-moving stocks with commercial teams
• Own and improve market Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias and complete full Root Cause analysis.
• Work with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure that promotional program and new product launch pipeline are fully included in the forecast
• Work effectively with Commercial and Supply organizations and the Market Warehouse & Distribution and Customer Service & Local Customization teams
• Project \ NPI launch \ Transition timeline management

  • 其它條件: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

    1. In depth knowledge of Demand Forecasting
    2. Minimum 10 years’ experience in Commercial Sales / Marketing / Demand Forecasting / Finance operations in an FMCG environment.
    3. Qualification in a supply chain related discipline, logistics, supply management, demand management, operational management or MBA desirable.
    4. Strong planning ability & able to work on own initiative.
    5. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead cross functional teams.
    6. Highly numerate and good knowledge of supply chain forecasting / trade spend software systems and processes. Knowledge of SAP APO is an advantage.
    7.Detailed understanding of business environment and ability to debate complex issues with key stakeholders
    8. Proactively seeks opportunities to increase value by raising standards & championing best practices.
