Supply Chain Ops Specialist

The Role:

It's a great time to join the AMD team--We are hiring!

The Supply Chain Operations Specialist will support customer accounts and associated supply commits. This role requires hands on execution, with focus on analysis and reporting. The successful candidate will help drive results across AMD on behalf of Supply Chain Operations (SCO) and the customer. Responsibilities include end-to-end instance timeline ownership and collaboration with internal teams and business owners to achieve those timelines and results.

The role also includes engaging with the sales team on escalations and customer communications as it pertains to supply chain; customer issue resolution interacting with planning, finance, sales, BU, engineering and other groups as required. The successful candidate will have a knowledge of customer operations, planning, and finance and will bring a strong business process orientation.



The Person:

You are passionate about spreadsheets, reporting and analysis! Your stellar communication skills include listening to and truly understanding your customers' needs, and effectively communicating with AMD internally to achieve customer satisfaction. You pride yourself in honest and trustworthy dealings with internal/external customers, colleagues and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll use your business experience and polish to establish strong, positive relationships with your customers, and effectively prevent and manage escalations. Responsibilities encompass ownership of the customer supply commit, reporting and analysis of customer centric metrics, and proactive communication and resolution of customer escalations as it relates to the supply chain organization.

Add'l responsibilities include:

Provide gap analysis to show week-on-week and month-on-month changes and inventory reductions of material at customer/distribution
Oversee order management from customer PO to supply fulfillment tracking
Communicate supply fulfillment timeline to sales/customer
Support supply prioritization and internal improvement to customer supply profile
Report weekly on Customer Activities/Issues
Communicate with customer as needed to support sales/supply chain

  • 其它條件: Preferred Experience:

    The ideal candidate has a background in supply chain, sales and/or customer operations. Knowledge of (supply chain) planning and product introduction is a plus. Also key is a very strong analysis experience.

    Keys to success include:

    Polished executive communication
    Ability to listen to the customer and articulate the customer’s needs internally within AMD
    Motivation to sustain high-energy and complex activity levels, in-region and remotely to other regional teams on a world-wide support model.
    Ability to accommodate flexible working hours, if needed.
