Supplier Manager – Parts and Accessories

The Supplier Manager - Composites performs the day-to-day overall management of the processes involving suppliers within the specified category. This role ensures that all process activities are being performed and that they are staffed adequately. The role is part of the CSG Taiwan management team and is critical in ensuring the long-term success of CSG’s supplier and partner foundation.

Product, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Sourcing



•Maintain and manage supplier portfolio.

•Manage supplier relationships in accordance with CSG guidelines.

•Ensures completeness and accuracy of product information on pricing, lead-times, order forms, order consolidation.

•Continuous improvement of order processing.

•Manage order product consolidation and logistics.

•Inventory management at Asian based suppliers and warehouses.

•Maintains packaging supply while constantly improving its sustainability.

•Assist in consolidating aftermarket and OE Parts and Accessory needs.

•Collect product compliance information.

•Publish and maintain supplier catalog.

•Ensure procurement ability.

•Create and communicate project proposals internally and externally.

•Manage audit process and drive continuous improvement plans with suppliers.

•Evaluate candidate suppliers.

•Drive and supervise supplier SLAs.

•Evaluate supplier competitiveness.

•Maintain supplier contract Terms and Conditions optimization.

•Maintain supplier performance information.

•Recommend sourcing and supply initiatives.

•Manage RFQ and RFP process.

•Research trends and best practices.

•Thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members, and manage all requirements accordingly.

•Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback.

•Track project progress to make certain deadlines are met appropriately.

•Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and department goals.

•Proactively communicate project status, issues & risks to management.

•Proactively identify and recommend process improvement initiatives where appropriate.

•Map and implement new processes as identified.

•Organize and facilitate project related meetings with Asia team and vendors.

•Ensure the supplier management team is practicing the core principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.

•Find and work to remove project roadblocks; motivate the development team and keep them excited to move forward.

•Ensure that daily project team commitments are being upheld and escalate concerns to management in a timely manner.

•Role requires ability to train personnel in the specifics of timeline creation, the proper identification of inputs, tasks, and outputs.

•Role requires setting and managing to KPIs for supplier team as well as manage external KPIs


•Actively cultivates a working culture which encourages innovative problem solving and collaboration.

•Deliver product and projects on time and in full.

•Communicates well and escalates concerns appropriately, having .

•Identify areas of improvement and using Lean, Six Sigma or other frameworks, lead process improvement initiatives



•Follows internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.

•Contributes to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.

    •Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of three to five years’ experience in process and projects management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    •Must be proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

    •Strong attention to detail.

    •Experience in the specifics of timeline creation, the proper identification of inputs, tasks, and outputs.

    •Demonstrated leadership skills.

    •Fluency in English.

    •Role requires an inquisitive nature and ability to probe and ask questions, identify dependencies, and to guide teams into discovering hidden assumptions and actions that are imbedded in processes defined over time but that may no longer be optimal.


    •Prior experience in the bicycle industry

    •PMI or PMP Certification

    •Six Sigma Certification



    •Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

    •Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

    •Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.

    •10% travel as needed
