Senior Account Manager, Sales-Taipei(mobile/compute/Automotive/IoT/Network)(3022106)

Job Description
The Senior Account Manager, Sales will be responsible for managing and growing revenue with large strategic accounts. This person will work closely with colleagues around the world and be responsible for promoting Qualcomm’s mobile/compute/Automotive/IoT/Network technologies and developing an opportunity plan containing the value proposition for all of Qualcomm’s targeted line of mobile/compute/Automotive/IoT/Network Solutions.

- the successful candidate should well manage relationships with customers, which means you are a proactive self-starter able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position will require understanding competitors and market trends to provide accurate forecast and evaluate level of risks to identify new areas of opportunity for Qualcomm. This person will also need to communicate and co-work closely with the technical and product teams in Qualcomm headquarters and regional teams cross the world.

Responsibilities
- be an expert in Qualcomm’s various products for mobile/compute/Automotive/IoT/Network devices working with customers and internal stakeholders to realize business goals in the market.
- work with product marketing/managements to identify new business opportunities and develop them.
- Build up strategic relationship with key partners at customers.
- Monitor the market dynamics against goals and respond to changes in the market, such as the market price, competitions, and application trends.
- identify and solve supply issues proactively and creatively through sales operations team.

Skills/Experience
The Senior Manager, Sales will have had extensive experience in developing relationships at large, complex organizations globally. She or he will have managed to sales targets and goals. Experience in selling components to Compute customers and the understanding of the complexity of the compute and cellular industry are required. The understanding of technically complex products and experience on how to position these to a broad audience are critical.
• Excellent in English communication and presentation.
• 8+ years of sales, marketing, product management or business development of complex technology products in compute and mobile businesses with knowledge of global dynamics of ODMs, OEMs, ecosystem, and certification
• Strategic account management expertise, the ability to manage change and the desire to operate effectively across organizations and customers
• Experience in design win and region sell-through partnerships with Compute and Mobile customers
• Experience in sell-out and go-to-market with OEM regions and channel partners in regions
• Deep knowledge and experience in building complex financial models that create win-win situations for Qualcomm and our customers
• Ability to identify emerging opportunities and proactively engage in pre-sales activity
• Expert technical understanding and hands-on experience in mobile and Compute technology including being first line of defense for technical and product issues
• Proficient and detailed understanding of supply chain, product development and marketing of compute products such as notebooks, Chromebooks, and tablets
• Experience in negotiating and managing MDF, NRE and component pricing with large consumer electronic OEMs
• Ability to communicate, educate and evangelize both internally and externally
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills
• Self-motivated and result-driven

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or related business field
• 8+ years in sales, marketing, business development, product management or related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in business or technology preferred
• 5+ years in product marketing, sales, or product management in the PC/Compute industry
