Test Lead/Engineer (server products)

Lead:
Mphasis is currently seeking a talented Test Lead for managing next Gen hardware and software projects in product engineering line for one of our largest client accounts.
A Test Engineer having extensive experience on Enterprise server products. The individual should know the Market Servers, Storage, and associated hardware, Product release life cycle.
Minimum requirement is at least 5+ years of experience in enterprise and engineering in Compute, Storage, Network domain with a University degree in a technical discipline.

Role:
• Basic knowledge of Agile. Daily team meeting and update the status to client.
• Capable of analyzing requirements and develop est Cases as per project defined process.
• Leading the Team and assigning test cases and reviewing on timely basis.

Technical Skills:
• Strong Knowledge on Server architecture and hardware.
• Ability to Lead the Team
• Knowledge on storage controllers of different vendors in Market.
• Experience in Testing Methodologies (Water Fall and Agile).
• Coordinate with different teams across geographic locations.
• Experience in validation of drivers and firmware of Storage controllers.
• Strong knowledge on SAS, SATA, NVMe, M.2 and SSD Protocols & drives.
• Knowledge on Server Operating Systems (RHEL, SLES, VMware and Windows).
• Experience in reviewing release notes & user guides,
• Experience in creating test plans and monitoring the test status.
• Experience in designing and modifying test cases based on new feature implementations.
• Experience in using FIO, IO Meter Tools etc.,
• Experience in Issue submission & tracking.
• Strong debugging skills and Analytical Skills
• Review the Team Members Test Cases and provide guidance.

Behavioral Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.
• 4-5 years of experience as a Test engineer, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of servers, and network equipment.
• Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining Servers.
• Exceptional ability to work as Individual, provide IT support, and resolve errors.
• Need to provide the Guidance to Team members
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Willingness to respond to server errors after hours.
• Required to perform urgent repairs outside of business hours.
• Building commitment within the team.
• Flexible to Work in Shifts

Engineer:
Technical Skills:
