Investment Associate (投資經理)

Job description BE Accelerator is a startup accelerator and venture builder that focuses exclusively on Healthtech and Medtech. Based in Taipei, Taiwan we leverage the unique strengths of our ecosystem to position the accelerator as the gateway to Asia for both local and international startups. We are looking for an Investment Associate to help us focus on the analysis and support of early-stage investments in the healthcare and biotech sectors. This role spans market and industry research, deal sourcing and evaluation, accelerator support, and alumni relationship management, with the goal of driving investment decisions and strengthening ecosystem partnerships. Key responsibilities would include: 1. Market and Industry Research • Collect and analyze trends and developments in the healthcare, biotechnology, and digital health sectors. • Assist the investment team in preparing technical research summaries and potential investment opportunity briefings. • Monitor changes in domestic and international innovation policies, regulatory landscapes, and the startup environment to support investment decision-making. 2. Sourcing and Evaluation of Potential Investments • Proactively source and evaluate early-stage healthcare startups. • Build and maintain a database of potential investment opportunities and track their progress and market momentum. • Support the preparation of internal screening reports and evaluation briefings for investment discussions. 3. Accelerator Support and Alumni Engagement • Act as the liaison between the investment team and startup teams, providing business mentorship in hospital and corporate accelerator programs. • Support workshops and mentoring sessions, offering practical guidance on business model optimization, fundraising strategies, and pitch feedback. • Maintain ongoing engagement with accelerator alumni, regularly assessing their investment potential and collaboration opportunities. • Develop and manage an alumni database and interaction mechanisms to foster long-term relationships and pre-investment positioning.
