In this role, you'll: • Design, build, and maintain Django-based web apps and admin backends. • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework, templates, and HTMX. • Complete Jira tickets based on technical requirements. • Communicate proactively with team members to clarify project needs and goals. • Participate in team discussions, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • 1+ years of experience as a developer. • Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#. • Basic knowledge of databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development. • Fluent written English; verbal English or Chinese communication skills. Soft Skills: • Problem-solver with a growth mindset: you're always curious and ready to learn. • Proactive and responsible: you take ownership and drive tasks to completion. • Comfortable in collaborative environments: Agile, Scrum, pair programming, and code reviews. Nice to Have : • Experience with Python, Django, FastAPI, or Flask. • Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. • Comfortable using Linux/Ubuntu systems. • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, CodeDeploy). • Knowledge of Celery, Redis, Gunicorn, Selenium, etc. • Experience in data pipelines, ETL, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). • Played around with LLM APIs (ChatGPT, fine-tuning, or AI agents). • Solid background in unit/integration testing. • Exposure to front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React. • Familiarity with UI/UX tools like Figma.
