
As a Tax Services Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality tax services and managing client engagements from start to finish. You will utilize your advanced tax research skills and foundational knowledge to identify potential tax issues, gather necessary information for tax filings, and participate actively in tax planning. Your ability to recognize and communicate potential risks, prepare tax accrual workpapers, and effectively use tax software to complete returns for review will be key to your success. The roles and responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Run client engagements comprehensively, which includes planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects while managing to budget. • Recognize and communicate potential risks associated with tax matters. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, effectively managing their expectations and delivering exceptional services. Manage client accounts, including billing, fee analysis, and the development of new services. • Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on tax projects, assessing the performance of staff for engagement reviews and performing the in-charge role as needed. • Prepare tax returns for more complex clients and review tax returns prepared by staff. Make recommendations to enhance accuracy and identify tax savings opportunities, gaining increasing responsibility in the review process. • Research and consult on various tax matters using tax-related software to prepare, process returns, and research tax matters. • Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities, managing and tracking the assigned client lists, and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. • Perform key administrative tasks, including billing and the review of engagement letters, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. • Manage resource allocation, workflow, and resource utilization. Implement standardized processes and procedures, providing feedback on any improvements.

【Basic Qualifications】 Education: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or other related field. Experience: • Over three (3) years of prior experience. • Public tax experience with the Big 4 or similar organizations. • Prior basic supervisory experience. • Prior experience preparing and reviewing U.S. business or individual tax returns. Software: • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat. • Proficiency in tax compliance process software including GoSystem RS, BNA Depreciation Software, or comparable programs and standard tax workpapers. Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Solid verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to follow instructions as directed by members of the Tax Team. • Proficient in preparing tax returns. • Takes appropriate actions without being asked. • Seeks advice from appropriate supervisors regarding compliance issues or problems. • Ability to effectively delegate work as needed. • Trains other team members. • Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills. • Able to work well in a team environment. 【Preferred Qualifications】 Education: • Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation. Experience: • Public accounting experience with the Big 4 or similar organizations. • Prior experience with U.S. consolidation tax returns. • Prior experience preparing and reviewing U.S. income tax provisions. License/Certifications • Passed US CPA Exam. Software • Experience with tax research databases such as RIA, CCH, BNA or comparable tax research databases.
