Due Diligence officer

Responsibilities • Assignment of Product Risk Rating and Complexity Ratings. • Participate in product evaluation phase by performing relevant research or peer comparisons. • Prepare due diligence reports after evaluating and testing product performance models provided by product manufacturers to ensure that the products’ potential rewards and risks are fairly represented • Review product literature to ensure product mechanics and risks are fairly and accurately represented • Evaluate and approve each product, on the basis that it is within the parameters set out under the Master Guidelines (Tranche) version of PAR • Support product managers’ marketing efforts by identifying and highlighting top performing funds or products, or researching relevant market information • Monitor the underlying markets, securities, interest rates, currencies etc. which the structured products distributed by DBS are exposed to better manage business risks and customers’ investment risks, and to track good as well as non-performing products for proactive customer communication and relationship management • PDD plays an integral role in the periodic or ad-hoc review and update of the bank wide PRCM, along with the various business units and Risk Management Group (RMG) who are represented in the Product Risk Rating Council (PRRC). • Regional reporting and coordination
