Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer (C++)

EV charging is an emerging industry, and the charger is a key product in every EV charging solution. A charger communicates with EVs and a cloud platform to fulfill various charging scenarios. In addition, it must be compliant with protocol standards and reliable. You will be developing software for an EV charger. To do this job well, you must be good at understanding protocol specifications and transform them into high quality software design and code in C++, and must also be experienced in IoT edge software development. Responsibilities: - Develop C++ applications for embedded Linux - Perform analysis & design with UML (state transition diagram, sequence diagram, design patterns, etc) - Design & implement concurrency, Linux IPC, serial and socket communication mechanisms - Implement developer tests and simulators - Perform integration tests with firmware and server developers - Defect fixing - Mentor junior developers Qualifications: - 3+ years experience in C++ programming - 3+ years experience in multi-threading programming - Experienced in RS232 and socket programming - Experienced in Linux IPC - Experienced in the design of software applications such as applying design patterns and dependency injection - Experienced in any unit testing framework - Experienced in Make/CMake/Cross compiling tools - Open-minded and willing to communicate - Experience in software architecture design is a plus - Modern C++ development experience is a plus - EV charging experience is a plus
