Senior product designer

One of our successful production brands- Miniware is one of the world's leading baby feeding ware brands with a global presence and is available in most major department stores, museum shops, and independent houseware stores worldwide as well as our rapidly growing e-commerce channel. We are looking for a talented Industrial Designer to join our Industrial Design & Innovation team in Taiwan. This is an exciting opportunity where you will focus on creating disruptive design solutions to support modern parenting goods as well as other products for everyday use. Working across multiple product categories you will develop highly inventive, insight-led designs that truly resonate with users. What you will be doing: Solving user scenario problems with bold, inventive, and eco friendly ideas Identifying opportunities and issues that will lead to high-ROI product designs Working with two major design leaders based in the USA and Sweden to manage multiple projects from research through to commercially viable concept designs. Collaborating with other designers on the team. Building low-fidelity test rigs and prototypes Creating 3D prints of your solutions to test and critique Supporting the buyer team to deliver the design to the production. Evaluate and improve the production prototypes and issues with design managers and manufactures. Oversee the production process with the team. What we need from you: An undergraduate (or masters) degree in Industrial Design or Product Design Four years or more industry experience Strong industrial design skills with a proven track record of success A portfolio showing an inventive nature turning ideas into commercially viable products An ability to effectively manage time while working to tight critical paths on multiple projects A natural flair to clearly communicate ideas to senior teams A good understanding of manufacturing techniques and processes Excellent knowledge of design applications such as Adobe CS, Solidworks, and KeyShot A creative thought process with a self-motivated drive to create ‘big ideas’ An entrepreneurial hands-on approach An adaptable, reliable character with the ability to easily engage with others The ability to challenge conventional thinking, whilst keeping ideas commercial What you will get from us after working more than a year with Bonnsu: Competitive salary and holiday allowance Company performance-related bonus An exclusive staff discount Extra holidays and health check benefits to support your family and well being Opportunity to travel
