1.Identifying new business opportunities: Researching and analysing the market to identify potential clients or customers, as well as identifying new products or services that the company could offer. 2.Developing and implementing business strategies: Based on the analysis of the market, a Business Development Manager will develop a plan of action to achieve business objectives. This includes creating and implementing strategies to increase sales and revenue. 3.Building relationships: Business Development Managers are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers. This includes networking, meeting with potential partners, and attending industry events. 4.Negotiating contracts: A Business Development Manager will often negotiate contracts with customers, clients, and vendors. This involves ensuring that both parties are satisfied with the terms of the agreement. 5.Analysing and reporting: Business Development Managers will analyse sales data and other relevant metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. As well as report to management on the success of business strategies and suggest new ideas. Overall, the role of a Business Development Manager is to help the company grow and succeed by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and developing and implementing effective business strategies.
