Native Speaker English Teacher

Our current teacher is moving back to England, and we're in search of a replacement for the upcoming semester. We're looking for a passionate, responsible ESL teacher to instruct children aged 6 to 12. A university degree and a TESOL or TEFL certificate are required, along with 3 to 6 years of teaching experience. Strong lesson planning skills and familiarity with the student-centered CLIL approach are preferred. To apply for a work permit , you will also need to a health certificate and a police clearance certificate. Please note this position is only for candidates from an English - speaking country where English is the official language. Teaching hours are 13:30-15:30 and 16:30-18:30 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and 16:30-18:30 on Tuesday. You're expected to arrive 30 minutes before each class for preparation. The position offers 18 hours a week , 40 weeks a year, with 3-6 weeks of winter and summer camps (30 hours a week). ARC sponsorship is provided, along with health insurance. Contracts are renewed yearly, and bonuses and partnership plans are available. Full-time in-class assistant support is provided. The current teacher’s apartment near the school is also available for takeover , with a monthly rent of 12000 NT dollars. Hourly pay starts at NT850 and is negotiable based on experience. Additional benefits include a NT30000 contract renewal bonus and a NT20000 full-attendance reward upon the completion of the first-year contract. The second-year renewal bonus is NT50000, plus NT20000 full-attendance reward and an additional travel allowance of NT50000. From the third year, a percentage of shares could also be discussed if the candidate continues to perform well. Other benefits include National Health Insurance, and we could sponsor a work permit and an ARC, though holders of APRC are preferred. Morning hours are also available at nearby kindergartens from 10-12 or 9-12, providing an additional 12-15 teaching hours a week in the mornings. That’s an additional 35000-45000 a month.
