We’re seeking a Lead Backend Engineer with software architectural capabilities to spearhead the development and management of our web applications. If you're a seasoned expert in backend technologies, fluent in English, and passionate about leading a dynamic team on exciting projects, we want you on our team! # Responsibilities 1. Lead the delivery of robust, testable, and efficient code that meets the highest standards of quality. 2. Drive collaboration within the team to develop live gaming products and ensure architectural coherence. 3. Oversee the documentation and maintenance of software functionalities for future reference. 4. Design and implement automated tests, and lead unit and integration testing efforts. 5. Mentor and guide team members in best practices for backend development and software architecture. # Qualifications General Must Have: 1. Good English communications, daily English meetings with Europeans. 2. Worked in startup and successful companies before. 3. Strong management experience. 4. Good at Performance Tracking. - Provide tracking systems. - Provide examples. - Identify underperforming employees. - help underperforming employees. 5. Documentation & organization Skills. Good to Have: 1. Industry knowledge. 2. Serverless ecosystem. 3. Deep database knowledge. Specific Must Have: 1. Proven success in high throughput API systems. 2. Cost sensitive. 3. High availability design experience. 4. Moderate NodeJS experience.
