Software QA

At METANOIA, we are looking for a Software QA / Test Development Engineer to join our team in Taiwan. If you are passionate about automation, quality, and innovation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! - What You'll Be Doing:  Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and pipelines for firmware and software.  Build and enhance test automation to improve test coverage, efficiency, and system reliability.  Work closely with product managers, developers, and application engineers to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.  Execute tests for O-RAN RU firmware and software to ensure high product quality.  Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide actionable insights to enhance product performance and reliability.  Drive continuous improvement of testing strategies, tools, and processes to innovation and ensure high standards of quality. - What We Are Looking For:  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.  3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, firmware development, or software engineering.  Familiarity with 5G software and associated testing methodologies is highly preferred.  Experience in developing and implementing automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Python, C, Jenkins, and modern test frameworks.  Practical knowledge of AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Chat-gpt...) and their integration into test workflows.  Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.  Passion for quality, automation, and innovation in a fast-paced and evolving environment.  Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration and working with globally distributed teams.  A track record of leading automation initiatives or driving process improvements within engineering teams.  Ability to clearly communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
