SUMMARY Talent strategy consultants provide advice to a wide range of clients, helping them to develop the HR programs, talent practices, performance management processes, and organizational designs that motivate and empower leaders and employees to deliver their best work. A Talent Strategy Consultant is an established, independent individual contributor, whose work has a direct impact on the team's outcomes. We will count on you to: Responsible for managing the project workflow to ensure that deliverables are met on time, and making choices on what the deliverables are depending on the findings of the analysis. Responsible for pulling in and interpreting data and other components to assess and determine the direction of a project, will review project workflow and implications of scope with Project Managers and Project Sponsors. Assists and independently lead in writing and structuring client presentations/reports by using data such as averages, trends, and stochastic models to create summary exhibits in presentations and to draft initial observations/recommendations and conclusions for review by senior consultants or on the project. Coordinate and review client data while supervising junior consultants including: tracking what has been received and what are outstanding, identifying issues or discrepancies with data, raising any issues independently with the client. Interpret the data and determine “the story” outlined to the client – determine client implications as it relates to data. Answer client questions regarding Mercer project methodology. Project Management. Lead internal team meetings (set agendas, take notes, execute most action items afterwards). Commensurate with experience, serves as a day-to-day client contact for project areas including data requests and data management. Works independently with client to assist them in responding to Mercer data requests and serves as point of contact for follow up questions. Conduct general research using internet and internal databases to gather information on client or prospective client business information including acquisition history and business performance. What you need to have: • 6-8 years of experience in HR, preferably in a consulting environment. 4-5 years relevant experience on Learning and Development/ Organization Design/ Employee Engagement. • Excellent project management, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail. • Proficient computer skills especially with Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. • Strong language skills – English and Mandarin. What makes you a stand-out? • Bachelors or MBA in a related degree, including significant coursework in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, human resources, and/or accounting, or equivalent work experience preferred. • Intellectually curious with strong appetite to learn. • Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines or changing client needs.
