Position Overview: • Content Creation and Quality Assurance: a. Create and proofread online teaching materials based on predetermined curriculums. Follow the scope and sequence provided by the materials and management teams. Repurpose existing materials to align with curriculum and CEFR requirements. • Adhere to the provided scope and sequence to ensure structured and cohesive lesson plans. • Use your creativity to enhance each lesson with fun, interactive activities that align with second language acquisition principles. Requirements: • English Proficiency: C1/C2 level. • Education related departments, Bachelor's degree or higher • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience developing ESL materials. • Pedagogical Knowledge: Strong understanding of language learning, lesson planning, and second language acquisition principles . • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. • Creative Teaching: Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities. • Familiar with basic image editing and educational material layout. • Application: A customized cover letter is required with your application and portfolio. Desirable Qualities: • Online teaching experience. • Familiarity with a range of ESL course materials. • Friendly, engaging, and enthusiastic personality. Education & Certification: • Minimum Requirements: o Bachelor's degree or higher o Level 3 ESL certification (or equivalent). • Desirable: o CELTA equivalent or higher (DipTESOL, PGCE). o Additional qualifications such as TYEL, TYLEC, or CertTESOL. o Postgraduate degrees related to education and/or ESL. Salary: Starting at NT$500 per hour, with the final rate based on qualifications and experience. Minimum of 20 hours per week.
