Material Planner

Purpose of the Position: Works from FCST, order demand, and inventory policy to execute inventory management and material requirements. Works proactively with cross-functional teams to meet business, improve customer satisfaction and supply chain performance. Day to Day Responsibilities: 1. Formulate inventory level based on FCST, capacity plan, and inventory policy. 2. Perform inventory control and management according to factory inventory policy. 3. MRP execution according to inventory, order demand, production capacity planning and procurement operations. 4. Based on materials request to issue PR and Outsourcing Work Orders. 5. Material supply confirmation and tracking. 6. Carry out inventory management, disposal, control and tracking of changes, consumption, rework and other progress according to ECO, special procurement, MRB. 7. SLOB disposal. 8. Scraps sales 9. Material abnormality handling and management 10. Reports summary and analysis (weekly. monthly....) 11. Other matters assigned by the supervisor. Education & Experience 1. Bachelor’s Degree (IE, Business… related) 2. Minimum 2 years Material Planning experience Required Skills: 1. Fundamental understanding of material management 2. Cross functional communication 3. Capacity and material planning 4. Outsourcing capacity plan and production management Desired Skills: 1. Experience with risk and statistical analysis. 2. Project management experience. 3. Basic Financial concept 4. Production planning
