USB-C & PD FW Team Lead (Unigraf)

[Job Description] : • Acts as functional manager for FW developers in Taiwan (sets targets etc.) • Breaks down features into tasks • Defines time estimates for the tasks together with the developers • Defines priorities on the task level (in case of conflicts, in co-operation with PMs and R&D Director) • Performs design/code reviews and documents results • Designs and develops embedded software for Unigraf USB-C Test Equipment • Documents and tests the code, writes unit tests • Performs USB-C system and protocol level debugging • Is responsible for following the company FW design architecture guidelines • Is responsible for technical quality of the USB-C PD FW development in Taiwan • Reports work progress through attendance in regular R&D team meetings • Works closely with Key Customers for joint R&D projects to develop new technology [Qualification] : **REQUIRED** • Has more than 5 years of experience as FW Developer / Embedded Software Engineer • Has more than 5 years of experience in USB-C PD area • Has strong knowledge of USB-C protocol • Has good knowledge of the C and C++ ecosystem and build tools (gcc, make etc…) • Is familiar with USB-C Ecosystem such as components and applications • Has strong ability and motivation to work individually as part of virtual teams • Has excellent collaborative skills and is a great team player • Has good communication skills in English **NICE TO HAVE** • Is familiar with USB4 Controller and architecture • Is familiar with USB-IF USB Compliance Test Suite and logic and USB protocol analyzer • Has experience in Altera NiosII architecture and development environment • Has experience with cross platform development tools (Qt) • Has knowledge of Agile methodologies This position is open in Taipei, Taiwan.
