Design Engineer (新店)

Job Description: As design engineer in SBR Business Unit, you will be responsible for new technology&product development and maintenance and get qualified product in a timely manner. Support all aspects of new product development, including leading new product development team to support new product business analysis, new product validation, characterization, qualification, and production release, coordinating cross-functional teams, wafer fabs, PE, PIE, FAE, Marketing to overcome technical challenges. SBR is one of the world leading designer, developer, manufacturer and supplier in diodes and rectifiers. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and drive new technology&product development activities from concept to production with interacting cross function team from marketing, PIE, PE, FAE, FAB team. • Forward looking for advanced technology and address patent. • Team up with PIE, PE, FAEs and Marketing to define new product specifications, to perform product competitive benchmark, and to evaluate theory and concept by simulation. • Create and maintain DFMEA, mask layout and technology main process • Define and make mask layout, test structures and design of experiments to evaluate and verify devices, processes, models and reliability with time and cost effective. • Perform mask tape out, mask view and release. • Acting as the principle interface with Fabs, Marketing , PE, PIE to ensure effective process design and implementation • Conduct regular meetings with FAB/foundries to drive development project schedule and resolve problem as project leader. Track activities and execute projects on schedule. • Maintain sound knowledge and technologies in the market place and transferring that knowledge to others (internal or external Fabs) to meet business growth, cost reduction and corporate strategic direction. • Review and evaluate FAB/foundry process technologies for accuracy, design ability and production readiness. • Develop and maintain process technology Roadmaps for diode and rectifier. • Optimize current processes to improve manufacturability, yield and performance of products. • Support and coordinate mask/ process change for risk analysis on product quality. • Maintain documentation for new and improved design & processes for reference purposes. • Interact and coordinate with PE team to resolve yield and quality issues with FA activity for internal or customer outside. • Provide support on New Product Announcements • Data collection, correlation, interpretation, and presentation of information to management and co-workers. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Expertise in semiconductor devices including layout, device development, process development, device characterization and reliability • In depth knowledge and familiarity with process technologies needed for diodes and rectifiers. • Ability to make mask layout and use TCAD for process/structure/device simulation
