Purpose of the Position: Seeking environmental engineering resource to lead initiatives related to PA (pollution abatement) / WWT (wastewater treatment) design, construction, commissioning, upgrade and operation support of Corning manufacturing infrastructure and associated equipment. Also focus on environmentally friendly products, process, and equipment technology with sustainability Day to Day Responsibilities: • PA/WWT design, installation, commissioning and start up • Extend Sustainability/ESG CoE capability/products to Asia. Across design(research), development and engineering for products and manufacturing process technologies with sustainability • Environmental Equipment FAT and issue FAT report • Review and implementation JSA (SWMS) with safety team and vendor • Issue weekly/monthly report related to safety, schedule, and quality for construction and commissioning • Work with Contractor, project team, safety team and site leaders to address any installation and commissioning issues
