The APAC Public Safety Team consists of highly motivated professionals who are responsible for interactions with law enforcement and public safety agencies across the region. We are committed to safety and privacy and are constantly seeking to build trust within our law enforcement & public health communities. 【About the role】 The Public Safety Response Team (PSRT) manages requests for user data from police, the judiciary and other government intelligence agencies around the globe. These often involve emergency circumstances which require an immediate response. Every request is unique and must be checked for legal compliance prior to commencing exhaustive research to identify the exact data requested. 【Responsibilities】 Comprehensive training will be provided - Respond to law enforcement data requests in accordance with PSRT guidelines, policies and playbooks. - Directly engage law enforcement for significant, complex or legally defective requests. - Enforce data privacy protection per law and Data Privacy Policy - Maintain awareness of the criticality of developing, and maintaining, positive relationships with law enforcement for the local teams. - Interact with police and other government agents in a calm, professional manner within a rapidly evolving environment. - Receive, review and log internal and/or external requests and ensure proper documentation. - Complete tasks and process requests in a timely manner and in accordance with SLAs. Perform request/problem identification and follow defined procedures to resolve correctly. - Perform incident notification and escalation to ensure problems/requests/issues are communicated effectively and receive proper management attention. 【We are looking for】 We are seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented person with a strong work ethic to join our team of privacy and safety specialists processing requests for user data. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent judgment, prioritize effectively and work collaboratively whilst under pressure; communicating effectively with partners. The candidate should enjoy a fast-paced environment, dealing with real-time emergencies and have strong analytical skills. - Confidence to Fluency (written and oral) in English. - Able to work independently with impeccable judgment. - Skilled in various computer systems, internet technology and software (PC, Mac, MS Office, online research, etc.) - Previous experience with disclosures to law enforcement agencies would be looked on favorably. - Any data analytics, investigatory or legal experience is a plus.
