As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Wonderland Group. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that support online transactions, user interactions, and business operations. Responsibilities 1. Build and integrate Magento 2 modules and backend services independently. 2. Design and implement scalable, high-availability service architecture and APIs. 3. Optimize database queries and overall system performance. 4. Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways and logistics providers. 5. Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and maintain high code quality standards. 6. Participate in CI/CD automation workflows and DevOps practices. 7. Collaborate closely with FEs, PMs, and SREs, including international teams. 8. Own and maintain technical documentation, including architecture design, API specifications, and deployment procedures.

1. 5+ years of backend development experience, including 3+ years with Magento 2 2. Strong understanding of Magento 2 (CE & EE) design patterns, architecture, and deployment processes. 3. Familiar with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is required. 4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins). 5. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and mentor junior developers. It would be great if you also have the following experiences and skills 1. Proficient in one or more programming languages: Node.js, Go, Python 2. Experience with one or more backend frameworks: Laravel, ThinkPHP, Symfony, Zend 3. Experience with one or more CMS/eCommerce platforms: Shopify, WordPress, Drupal 4.
